Graduation Requirements

CMA Course

To graduate and receive a Training Verification Form (required for certification), a student must complete 45 hours of training and score an 80% or better on all quizzes/assignments.

CNA/CHHA Course

To graduate from Wings Health Care Training and receive a Training Verification (required for certification), a student must score an 80% or better on all quizzes and assignments and complete 91 hours of training.

CHHA Deeming Course

To graduate and receive a Training Verification (required for certification), a student must complete 16 hours of training and score an 80% or better on all quizzes/assignments.

CMA-CEU

To graduate and receive a Training Verification (required for certification), a student must complete 8 hours of training and score an 80% or better on all quizzes/assignments.

Certification Requirements

CMA Course

Upon completion of 45 hours, the student will take the first of two Certification tests. The clinical test will be given on the Wings Campus. The fee for this test is included in the tuition price. To pass the test, the student must administer 20 medications with zero mistakes. If a student does not successfuly complete the pass, they may retake the test up to two more times for an additional fee. When the student successfully completes this test, they are eligable to take the Written Certification test. The fee for this test is not included in the tuition price. Wings will give the student all required documentation and help each student schedule the final certification test at an approved testing site.

CNA/CHHA Course

Upon graduation, each CNA/CHHA student will take a Clinical Test. This is a hands-on demonstration of required skills. This test is pass/fail. Once a student passes the Clinical Test, they are eligible to take the Written Test. This test is multiple choice. A student must receive a passing score of 70% or better to receive certification. Clinical and Written test fees are not included in the tuition price.

For each student that successfully completes the CNA/CHHA Certification tests: 1. Their name and Nurse Aide certification number will be listed on the Oklahoma State Nurse Aide Registry. 2.  The Oklahoma State Department of Health will issue certificates via email.

CHHA Deeming Course

Upon completion of this 16 hour course, the student will receive a Training Verification Form and Course Completion Card. You will take your Training Verification form to the testing site and the the information will be submitted to the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry. The fee for submission is not included in your tuition. The you will receive a Certified Home Health certification via email from the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Testing Fees

CNA/CHHA Course

Certification Testing Fees are not included in the tuition price. A representative from the testing site will visit during class so that students can schedule the CNA/CHHA test and pay the testing fee directly to the testing site. You may choose not to use a different testing site. If so, your testing fee may vary. Contact your testing site to verify testing fees.

CMA Course

Two certification tests will be required to receive a CMA certification. The Clinical Certification Testing fees are included in the tuition price. The Written Certification Testing fees are not included in the tuition price. Contact your testing site to verify testing fees.

Testing Re-Takes

CNA/CHHA

If a student fails a certification test, they may retake the test. Additional testing fees will apply and will be paid directly to the testing site NOT to Wings Health Care Training. It is the responsibility of the student to contact the testing site to reschedule their test and pay applicable fees.

CMA Course

If a student fails the Clinical Certification Test, they may retake the test at Wings. Additional testing fees will apply. If a student fails the Written Certification Test at the testing center, they may retake the test. Additional testing fees will apply and will be paid directly to the testing site NOT to Wings Health Care Training. It is the responsibility of the student to contact the testing site to reschedule their test and pay applicable fees.
